Taizhou Cuisine Feature | Shunji · Pujiang Hui: A Dance of Flavors on the Palate
Praised in Beijing
Adored in Shanghai
On April 23,
as the Taizhou Cuisine Industry Conference unfolded
amid the city’s bid to become a “World City of Gastronomy,”
top-tier restaurants from across Taizhou
came together to present their signature dishes.
Among the featured venues:
Shunji · Pujiang Hui
Chilled Soft-Roe Crab
Braised Pork with Taro
Simpered Fresh Beef Brisket with Radish
Taizhou Pomfret Steeped in Da Hong Pao Tea and Chicken Oil
Crystal Noodles Cooked with Homemade Pickled Radish
With each homestyle-inspired creation,
Shunji · Pujiang Hui captures both the heart and the palate,
letting the flavors of the mountains and sea dance delicately on the tongue.

Shunji · Pujiang Hui is the result of a collaboration between the renowned Shanghai-based Pujiang Hui Group and Taizhou’s own Shunji brand. Blending refined Cantonese culinary arts with Taizhou’s local seafood, the restaurant draws inspiration from Zen philosophy while placing flavor at its core. Moving forward, it aims to establish itself as a high-end Chinese restaurant of Michelin-level quality right in Taizhou.
