’’Hello, Xiao Tai, what unique cooking methods are used for Taizhou seafood?"
At this digital culinary exhibition, Taizhou's Digital Pavilion has established an AI interactive zone utilising cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, enabling seamless real-time communication with participants.

Visitors can pose food-related queries on-site by using the wake-up phrase "Hello, Xiao Tai". From ingredients and preparation methods to flavours, "Xiao Tai" provides detailed answers to enquirers.
Taking the development and application of artificial intelligence as a breakthrough point, Taizhou has achieved a profound integration of "digital" and gastronomy.
Cuisine Etched in Memory
The fragrant fermented rice porridge of Lantern Festival; the fresh green hue of Qingming Festival's green rice cakes, embodying spring's essence; the plump, rounded shape of Winter Solstice's glutinous rice balls symbolising yearning for reunion and fulfilment... In Taizhou, each festival carries distinct culinary traditions. Eating in harmony with the seasons represents the most fundamental "dining philosophy" of Taizhou's people.

This exhibition will showcase Taizhou's festive delicacies one by one. For locals, these dishes offer not merely culinary delight but profound emotional bonds. They carry history, culture, and memories, passed down through generations while remaining ever-relevant.
Advancing with Accolades
What are Taizhou's renowned dishes? Home-style Braised Yellow Croaker, Water Chestnuts Treading Frost, Deep-fried Stir-fried Jumping Fish, and Sand Garlic Bean Paste are but a few examples. In the Digital Pavilion, the "Taizhou Famous Dishes" exhibition area is an absolute must-see. In recent years, with the development of Taizhou's tourism industry and the spread of its culinary culture, Taizhou cuisine has not only gained popularity locally but also attracted increasing numbers of visitors from afar, drawn by its reputation to savour these delicacies.

Building upon these culinary foundations, Taizhou's restaurant industry continues to innovate, blending traditional recipes with modern techniques. This unique flavour profile has earned Taizhou's dining establishments numerous accolades.
New Rongji, nicknamed the "Michelin Guide magnet"; Black Pearl award-winning restaurants Ke Long No.1 and Lao Bian Restaurant; and the "Golden Wutong" award-winning establishments Long Yan and Pujiang Hui. Behind each trophy lies the formidable appeal of Taizhou cuisine, captivating palates both domestically and internationally.

Furthermore, the Digital Pavilion features sections dedicated to culinary proverbs, celebrity foodie experiences in Taizhou, ingredient traceability, seasonal dining traditions, signature dishes from Taizhou's nine counties and districts, real-time culinary data, restaurant rankings, a Shanghai-Taizhou cuisine map, and the "Ultimate Flavours" Taizhou Cuisine. Visitors can immerse themselves in the unique allure of Taizhou's culinary heritage and participate in the "Taizhou Cuisine Stamp Collection" activity to document their gastronomic discoveries. Here, the claim that "one pavilion reveals the essence of Taizhou flavours" rings true.

From the acclaimed "2024 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide Insights Summit" and "Taizhou's First Premium Food Week" to upcoming events like the "Dianping Must-Eat Awards Ceremony,"Taizhou Cuisine Culture Research Association Inaugural Conference," and "Dynasty Dry White Wine Forum"... This year, against the backdrop of establishing itself as a "World City of Gastronomy," Taizhou has relentlessly promoted its culinary identity centred on "freshness, sweetness, and chewiness," continuously polishing its golden culinary reputation. The city approaches its "World City of Gastronomy"ambition with considerable confidence.
