发布时间: 2025-10-30 08:53:00

The Promoting a city, its cuisine serves as the most compelling business card. To further elevate Taizhou’s culinary heritage and share the story of its gastronomy, the Taizhou Cuisine Culture Research Association was officially established on the afternoon of July 19th.

This association is a collaborative initiative between the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports, and Taizhou University. It unites experts in Taizhou cuisine, educators, chefs, restaurant and food business owners, culinary enthusiasts, and food communicators from various self-media platforms. Its mission is to promote Taizhou’s culinary culture, explore the history, cultural characteristics, and deeper meanings of Taizhou cuisine, and to encourage innovation and development within the culinary landscape of Taizhou.

Taizhou, characterized by its unique geographical features of “seven mountains, one river, and two-thirds farmland,” has nurtured a rich and diverse food culture. In recent years, Taizhou cuisine has gained significant popularity, with its deliciously fresh, soft, and sweet captivating many, particularly among the young people.

Following the establishment of the Taizhou Cuisine Culture Research Association, a pertinent question arises: how can Taizhou cuisine continue to attract attention and promote the city? Wang Xingyou, the president of the association, emphasized their commitment to actively engaging in initiatives that support the development of the Taizhou cuisine industry. This includes exploring distinctive food cultures, promoting innovative advancements in Taizhou cuisine, enhancing training mechanisms for culinary professionals, and strengthening the branding and promotion of Taizhou cuisine.

Their overarching goal is to create a Taizhou cuisine intellectual property (IP) that possesses significant brand value.

Currently, Taizhou is actively pursuing the title of “World Capital of Gastronomy,” and the development of its culinary industry is progressing vigorously. The establishment of the research association is timely and significant. “We hope that the research association will enhance its service efficiency in the future, attract more talent, and explore innovative pathways for the development of social science and cultural organizations in this new era. Our goal is to further elevate the reputation of Taizhou cuisine and enable more people to discover and experience the city through its culinary offerings,” stated Wang Chao, Deputy Director and Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports.
