First Taizhou Premium Snack Week Concludes, Bringing Prosperity Amidst the Bustling Food Scene

发布时间: 2026-04-15 08:49:57

On the evening of October 5, the 2025 Zhejiang Specialty Snack Carnival & the First Taizhou Premium Snack Week came to a successful close at Hall No.4 of the Taizhou International Expo Center.

“For the past five days, our whole family has moved all our meals here,” said Chen An (pseudonym), a local resident of Jiaojiang. Her family of four made it a daily ritual to come for food, perfectly reflecting the satisfying experience enjoyed by countless visitors. Living right next to the Expo Center, Chen An can walk from home to the venue in just over ten minutes. Since the Snack Week kicked off on October 1, she and her family have been on an “immersive food tour,” arriving at mealtime every day to hunt down delicious bites.

Her phone gallery is filled with snapshots of this culinary journey: plum blossom rice cakes (crispy outside, chewy inside), fluffy Danqing Yangwei (fried egg-white with sugar paste), Lanxi egg-filled pancakes with generous meat fillings, and Jianjun creamy pork chops—featuring almost all the signature snacks of the event.

What delighted Chen An even more was the “1-yuan flash sale” promotion. Every day, she would log on to the “Wangchao Life” mini-program App on time, snagging dozens of treats like Yuhuan Atu Beef Offal, creamy garlic fries, crispy-skinned suckling pig, and more. “Tasting authentic flavors for next to nothing—the organizers really understand what foodies want!” She showed off the redemption records on her phone and laughed, sharing that her child’s favorite ice cream and her own beloved Lü’s Paoxia were both grabbed for just 1 yuan. These great deals doubled the happiness of the family’s food tour.

Beyond the wide variety of food and great value, the thoughtful arrangements by the organizers made her experience even more enjoyable. “At first I worried there wouldn’t be enough seating and we’d have to eat standing up, but it turned out they had a large dining area that was also very clean,” Chen An said. “And the air conditioning made it so comfortable to sit and eat on such hot days.” She also noted that all booths displayed clear price tags, with fair and transparent pricing—no “holiday markup” concerns at all, making the visit stress-free and trustworthy.

Even on the final day, the venue remained packed. At the Martyr Mountain Lü’s Paoxia booth, oil sizzled as golden, crispy Paoxia(fried stuffed dough) came out one after another. At the plum blossom rice cake booth, the stove worked nonstop, with freshly baked rice cakes selling out as soon as they came out, still steaming. Booths offering regional specialties like Qingyuan black rice and Wenzhou fried rice noodles also drew constant crowds of customers inquiring and lining up to buy—the lively atmosphere showed no sign of fading.

This five-day food feast not only allowed residents to enjoy a one-stop taste of Zhejiang’s diverse cuisines but also, through affordable prices and thoughtful services, etched the warmth of everyday life and a sense of happiness into everyone’s holiday memories. As Chen An put it, “Such a snack festival is truly unforgettable. I can’t wait for the next one at the Expo Center!”
