Taizhou Flavors Take Beijing by Storm: Aide's Small Intestine Rolls Showcase Intangible Cultural Heritage Confidence
Recently, the Taizhou Cuisine Promotion Event in Beijing and the launch ceremony for the "19th China Catering Industry Development Conference" to be held in Taizhou took place in Beijing. Jin Desheng, inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Taizhou braised food preparation techniques and chairman of Aide Food, presented Aide's Small Intestine Rolls at two core segments of the event: the long-table feast and the ingredient exhibition. The rolls attracted significant attention and praise from many culinary industry leaders.

"Our small intestine rolls adhere to the principle of 'authentic rolls made from whole intestines,' using complete, unprocessed intestines. This is our core characteristic," Jin Desheng stated in an interview. Aide Food has been producing braised dishes for over 50 years. Its braised food preparation techniques are recognized as a Taizhou municipal-level intangible cultural heritage item. The Aide Small Intestine Rolls have earned accolades such as "Weimei Zhejiang" City Landmark Cuisine, Zhejiang Famous Dish, and 2025 Zhejiang Specialty Souvenir. These honors, Jin noted, are the foundation enabling the product to expand from Taizhou to the rest of the country.
"After tasting them, everyone gave high praise to Aide's Small Intestine Rolls. Guests like Yang Liu, President of the China Cuisine Association, and Vice President Qiao Jie were particularly complimentary." The promotion in Beijing garnered widespread acclaim and strong recognition from attendees. Jin Desheng shared, "Master chefs An Yuan and Wang Haidong's team showed great interest in the small intestine rolls, asking detailed questions about the production process and how to eat them." On-site, in-depth discussions took place, focusing on the inheritance and innovation of Taizhou's braised food traditions.

Notably, Aide's Small Intestine Rolls have already taken steps to establish a presence in Beijing. "Currently, a Taizhou cuisine restaurant called Zhe Xian Xiao Chu in Beijing's Chaoyang District has started selling our Aide Small Intestine Rolls. Beijing residents can now enjoy authentic Taizhou intangible cultural heritage braised food right on their doorstep," Jin Desheng said.

This Taizhou cuisine promotion event in Beijing not only provided an excellent platform for Aide's Small Intestine Rolls to showcase the charm of Taizhou's intangible cultural heritage and connect with the national market, but also used the savory flavors of braised food as a medium to present a distinctive Taizhou culinary identity to the country. It allowed more people to appreciate the unique allure of Taizhou's braised dishes and experience the vibrant vitality of its intangible cultural heritage.
