On March 19th, the Taizhou Cuisine Promotion in Beijing and the official announcement ceremony for the 19th China Catering Industry Development Conference, to be held in Taizhou, took place in Beijing. Renowned catering entrepreneurs, industry experts, scholars, and online influencers gathered to partake in this delightful encounter between the flavors of the mountains and the sea and the culture of Chinese cuisine.

Wang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Committee and Mayor, and Yang Liu, President of the China Cuisine Association, attended the promotion event and delivered speeches. Cheng Weibo, Vice Mayor of Taizhou, Qiao Jie, Vice President of the China Cuisine Association, and Lin Xianjie, Secretary General of the Taizhou Municipal Government, were present at the related events.

Taizhou, embraced by both mountains and the sea, has developed a distinctive food culture characterized by "fresh, sticky, and sweet" flavors. It is the birthplace of Xin Rong Ji, the restaurant with the most Michelin stars in China, and is home to representative establishments like Shunji Pujiang Hui, Linjiayi, Laobian Restaurant, and Longyan. The Taizhou cuisine IP has garnered over a billion views. This promotion in Beijing is not only a splendid showcase of the "flavors of mountain and sea harmony" to the nation and the world but also a crucial step in its bid for the title of "World City of Gastronomy," carrying the city's aspirations for preserving its culinary culture and developing the industry.

In his speech, Wang Jian pointed out that cuisine is an important cultural symbol and a dazzling business card for any city. In recent years, focusing on the bid for the "World Capital of Gastronomy," Taizhou has vigorously promoted the active preservation and evolution of its culinary traditions, continuously enhancing the recognition and reputation of Taizhou cuisine. Hosting the 19th China Catering Industry Development Conference in Taizhou signifies high recognition and great support for the city's culinary scene. He stated that they would use food as a medium and the conference as a bridge, meticulously crafting an industry event that integrates food tasting, cultural exhibition, and industrial cooperation. He sincerely invited all guests to visit Taizhou, explore its famous mountains, behold the sea, savor its delicacies, and join this culinary appointment to create a better future together.

In her speech, Yang Liu noted that the China Cuisine Association has always been committed to "preserving Chinese culinary culture and promoting industrial innovation and development." Since partnering with the Taizhou Municipal Government, they have focused on exploring the cultural aspects and industrial promotion of Taizhou cuisine, gradually introducing it to the world. She expressed anticipation for deepening cooperation with Taizhou, exploring new models of "gastronomy + culture + industry," and enabling Taizhou cuisine to become a "golden key" for rural revitalization and a "new engine" for common prosperity.

It was officially announced on site that the 19th China Catering Industry Development Conference will be held in Taizhou. The conference will focus on cutting-edge topics such as "Chinese Catering Entrepreneurs" and "Artificial Intelligence + Catering," featuring multiple thematic seminars. It will also include special activities like showcasing premium foreign trade products and conducting industrial inspections. Adopting a trinity model of "industry forum + exhibition display + exchange and networking," the conference aims to establish a comprehensive industry communication platform. Catering entrepreneurs and industry professionals from across the country are welcomed to Taizhou to enjoy the scenic landscapes, savor the exquisite local flavors, and discuss industry development strategies.
