Recently, the "Harmonious Mountains and Seas, Culinary Prosperity" 2025 China Taizhou · Snack Food Carnival's 2025 Taizhou Culinary Cooking National Invitational Tournament concluded successfully, with Long Yan · New Taizhou Cuisine winning the gold medal.

Let’s take a look at the competition entries from Long Yan · New Taizhou Cuisine:

Yellow Croaker "Lion’s Head" Meatballs

This dish highlights the "freshness" of the yellow croaker. The first bite delivers the pure, tender flavor of the fish, while chewing reveals a smooth, firm texture. Sweet green peas are scattered throughout, adding layers to the mouthfeel and enhancing the overall refreshing and elegant flavor. Every bite captures the true, natural deliciousness of the ingredients.

Steamed East Sea Ribbonfish with Red Wine Lees

This dish uses line-caught ribbonfish from the East Sea, known for its delicate and firm flesh. Steamed with local red wine lees and "Dao Ban Xiang" cured pork, the wine aroma thoroughly permeates the fish, while the cured pork’s fat adds a rich, mellow depth to the dish.

Four-Seasonal Baishuiyang Tofu

Linhai Baishuiyang tofu is widely beloved by diners. Zhu Ziqing once described it as "tender and smooth, like a white fox coat worn inside out." The Long Yan version pairs it with three different accompanying seasonings, adjusted according to the seasons, all aimed at highlighting the tofu’s original flavor.

Changtan Sweet Potato Cake

Changtan Sweet Potato Cake is a sweet representative of Taizhou’s "chewy and soft" delicacies. The first bite offers the fine, glutinous texture of glutinous rice flour, and as you bite into it, the sweet aroma of jujube paste slowly unfolds. It’s sweet but not cloying, a beloved sweet taste among Taizhou locals.

Long Yan · New Taizhou Cuisine

Located at the foot of the beautiful Jiufeng Mountain in Huangyan, Long Yan · New Taizhou Cuisine features over 20 luxurious private dining rooms, one banquet hall that can be freely partitioned, and a booth area themed in Hermès orange. The "New Chinese" decorative style exudes a sense of understated luxury and elegance throughout.

Long Yan · New Taizhou Cuisine interprets local ingredients with innovative techniques, delving deeply into the essence of Taizhou cuisine. It seamlessly blends traditional Taizhou flavors with modern innovative cooking methods, creating a distinctive Huangyan-style culinary experience.
