September 28, the sixth transition meeting and the first member congress of the seventh session of the Taizhou Catering Industry Association were held.

The meeting reviewed and adopted the "Work Review Report of the Sixth Council," the "Financial Revenue and Expenditure Report of the Sixth Council (2019–2024)," as well as the draft Charter, draft membership management measures, and draft financial management system for the seventh session. The congress elected the Secretary-General, Vice Presidents, Standing Vice Presidents, Executive President, and President of the seventh council of the Taizhou Catering Industry Association. Wang Xingyou, founder of Shunji Catering, was re-elected as the President of the new session.

Established in 1992, the Taizhou Catering Industry Association has consistently adhered to its guiding principles of "service provision, demand articulation, and standardized practices." It has built a communication platform for the catering industry, urged catering service providers to operate with integrity, ensured food safety, and guided the healthy and orderly development of the city’s catering industry.

"We must keep pace with the times, stay close to consumers and the market. We must not only cook excellent dishes but also cultivate our brand with a brand mindset, new media mindset, and big data mindset. We need to tell the story of Taizhou cuisine well, strive for its widespread popularity, and contribute to Taizhou’s goal of becoming a 'World City of Gastronomy'!" said Wang Xingyou.

"Leverage synergy to drive industry development; strengthen self-regulation to standardize market order; and foster exchanges and cooperation for mutual development," said Dong Jie, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Taizhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, expressing his expectations for the Taizhou Catering Industry Association. "We hope the new session of the catering association will take this transition as an opportunity to further strengthen its own development, enhance its service capabilities and standards, effectively serve as a bridge and bond, and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of our city’s catering industry."
