2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide Released: 6 Restaurants in Zhejiang Featuring Taizhou Cuisine Make the List!

发布时间: 2025-12-25 16:16:00

On January 6, the Meituan Black Pearl Restaurant Guide announced the latest 2025 list of Black Pearl restaurants in Nanchang, Jiangxi. A total of 370 restaurants from 34 cities were included. Among the listed restaurants in Hangzhou, two specialize in Taizhou cuisine, while four restaurants from Taizhou itself made the list. Additionally, one dish from a Taizhou restaurant received the “Dish of the Year” Award.

In the 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, four restaurants from Taizhou were selected, including one Three-Diamond restaurant, one Two-Diamond restaurant, and two One-Diamond restaurants. Two restaurants have maintained their places on the list for eight consecutive years: Xin Rong Ji (Central Avenue Branch) and Lao Bian Restaurant. Among them, Lao Bian Restaurant’s "Old Duck Dumplings" were honored with the 2025 “Dish of the Year” Award.

Unlike the previous trend of pursuing extravagant displays of premium ingredients or excessive plating as a form of conspicuous consumption, today’s consumers are more focused on high quality and the long-term value experience that brands provide. Wang Puzhong, CEO of Meituan’s Core Local Commerce, stated, "No matter how the consumption environment changes, there will always be those who adhere to the highest standards, and there will always be enterprises that take on the responsibility of preserving tradition while innovating. Doing food well is the most important part of a beautiful life."

In the future, the Black Pearl Guide will continue to expand into international markets and promote culinary exchanges between China and the rest of the world. Wang Puzhong emphasized that Black Pearl restaurants should promote themselves in the global market, engage in mutual collision, learning, and integration. Meituan will remain committed to its original mission, using the "Black Pearl" platform to shine a spotlight on local culinary specialties and share Chinese dining culture with the world.
